Project Update
We are pleased to announce the completion of the "Love you Daycare" facility, which now welcomes 29 children each day. This milestone represents far more than a building—it is a lifeline for families who work long hours in the fields and struggle to find safe, reliable, and developmentally supportive care for their children.
Project Meaning
In the families we serve, both parents often work 10–12 hour days in the fields. By the time they return home, there is little time or energy left to teach, play, or support their children’s early development. Without intervention, these little ones quickly fall behind in social skills, confidence, and eventually in school.

The need for this ministry is profound. In migrant farm‑working communities, families often face an impossible choice: without access to childcare, older siblings—sometimes as young as seven—must stay home from school to care for younger children. This cycle deprives multiple children in the same household of the education and opportunities they deserve.

Our program provides far more than basic supervision. Each child receives individualized attention tailored to their developmental stage and unique needs. Under the leadership of Director Jaqueline Seguchi, our dedicated staff cultivates a Christ‑centered, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore, and thrive. As a result, we are seeing remarkable growth in their confidence, communication, and social skills.
A critical component of our care is the provision of nutritious, freshly prepared meals and snacks each day. For many children, this represents their most dependable source of healthy food. Consistent nutrition is essential for physical development, emotional stability, and the ability to learn—especially for children who regularly face food insecurity at home.

Por Amor a Ti Daycare stands in the gap, ensuring that the youngest children receive safe, loving, developmentally rich care, while their older siblings remain in school where they belong.
The Daycare has the capacity to welcome 20 additional children into this life‑changing program. The only barrier is the funding required to hire additional staff and purchase essential supplies. Even the families whose children are currently enrolled are able to contribute only a small portion of the true cost of tuition due to their limited financial resources.

A monthly donation of $250 pays the full tuition for one child.
